The OCTA Application was designed to meet OCTA and department day-to-day operational needs to view and know the status of various transactions, record keeping, reporting, and data needs for added transparency and partnership. This application developed with BADG and OCTA, allowed for easier tracking of study funds and assisted in providing real-time information to begin to streamline the Clinical Trials process.
In line with the 2019-2020 Enterprise Systems Renewal (ESR) Program initiatives and launch of a new contract and grant system (Kuali Research) and new financial system (Oracle Financial Cloud), OCTA has transitioned away from the OCTA Application in favor of centrally supported systems.
Effective June 29, 2020, the OCTA Application is accessible to Departments and OCTA in a read only format for searching or viewing of historical information about OCTA CDA/NDA’s, Amendments, and Pre-Kuali Research Clinical Trial Agreements. To view data for historical records in the OCTA Application, click

Submit a Contract” section of OCTA’s website for information on submitting a CDA/NDA or Contract Amendment to OCTA.
Effective July 1, 2020, all financial functions in the OCTA Application will cease to be available or performed in the OCTA Application. All financial activity related to industry clinical trials, including the claiming of payments, will occur in Oracle. Please visit the “
Financial Information” section of OCTA’s website for more information.
