María Lázaro-Díez, PhD

María Lazaro-Diez carried out her PhD in the laboratory of José Ramos-Vivas, PhD, and Marcos López-Hoyos, PhD, at the Research Institute Marqués de Valdecilla (IDIVAL), in Santander (Spain). Her dissertation topic focused on the interaction between the multi-drug-resistant pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii and human cells. 

Maria is currently studying the role of C. acnes factors in acne pathogenesis using a novel murine model of acne.
