Driving Directions and Parking

From the North: 

  • Travel on I-5 South
  • Take exit 28, La Jolla Village Dr
  • From offramp, turn right onto La Jolla Village Dr. Stay to the right
  • Go straight through light at Villa La Jolla Dr and immediately veer right to Gilman Drive
  • Veer right onto Gilman Dr
  • Turn right onto Osler Lane
  • The Center for functional MRI is on your left, in the WM Keck building. 
  • Park in one of the 3 Center for fMRI reserved spaces on the right side of Osler lane (#866, #867,#868) that has been allocated for your scan
  • If arriving after 5pm or on weekends the doors will be locked, so please call the investigator when you arrive to get let in

From the South: 

  • Travel on I-5 North
  • Take exit 27, Gilman Dr
  • From offramp, turn left onto Gilman Dr
  • Continue 2 miles on Gilman Dr
  • Turn right onto Osler Lane
  • The Center for functional MRI is on your left, in the WM Keck building. 
  • Park in one of the 3 Center for fMRI reserved spaces on the right side of Osler lane (#866, #867,#868) that has been allocated for your scan
  • If arriving after 5pm or on weekends the doors will be locked, so please call the investigator when you arrive to get let in

Additional Information for MRI Subjects: 

Before your scan: 

  • Please wear comfortable clothing. We recommend to dress as if you are going to the gym. Jeans are acceptable but if you have pants without metal buttons or zippers that is preferable. 
  • If you are female, please wear a bra without any metal (including hooks and snaps). If you do not have a bra without any metal, please bring an undershirt that you feel comfortable wearing without a bra. 
  • There is a bathroom in the building where you can change. 
  • Please don't drink too many liquids prior to the scan.
