Paul is a resident physician at UCSD Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences. His research background is in health services research, biostatistics, and clinical trials design.
His work focuses on palliative and supportive care in cancer survivors, with a specific interest in opioid prescribing patterns and opioid-related adverse events. He also is interested in health equity with a special interest racial disparities in genitourinary cancer screening and outcomes.
In his free time he enjoys sailing, board games, and going to the beach with his dog Arya.
