Services
Revenue sources and joint venture opportunities
Industry relationships sought include venture capital, biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.
Marketing our products and services
Includes basic cellular and genetic research, translational drug and vaccine development, new therapeutics, early phase trials of new cancer treatments, and Phase II and III trials.
Creates and characterizes program solicitation
Assists in the assembly of proposals for support, and negotiates the agreements.
Partnership process
- Meets with industry representatives to discuss potential collaborations
- Meets with UC San Diego scientists and administrators to facilitate negotiations and final agreements
- Works with the Office of Technology Transfer to facilitate Material Transfer Agreements, patent applications and equity arrangements
